Based near Newcastle, this is a full-time, permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to work on game-changing projects that shape the future of healthcare. What You'll Do: As an Application Engineer, you will become the go-to expert for specific product portfolios within the healthcare sector. Your role will involve managing products throughout their lifecycle, providing exceptional customer support, and delivering solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. You will be integral to ensuring our products are maintained, improved, and supported effectively. Please Note: We CAN accept applications from Bio-Medical Engineering or Clinical Engineering Graduates without prior experience. Key Responsibilities:
Offer top-tier support for a diverse product portfolio. Ensure product data is up-to-date and functionalities meet intended purposes. Manage product improvements and lifecycle. Create and update marketing, sales, and support materials. Support distributors and build strong relationships through technical support and presentations at exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and trade shows. Deliver comprehensive product training and guidance, both online and in person. Collaborate across departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Provide analytical data to support product management, engineering, and project teams. Travel internationally (4-6 times per year) to support global distributors. Success Metrics: Achieving personal and departmental objectives. Meeting or exceeding unit sales performance and customer experience KPIs. Effective teamwork within the Category Management team. What We’re Looking For: A degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience in biomedical or clinical engineering is a plus. Background in product lifecycle management and first/second-line product support is desirable. Experience in the test and measurement device sector is advantageous. Strong customer-centric approach with excellent attention to detail. Professional communication skills and the ability to interact across various business levels and with a global customer base. Exceptional organisational, prioritisation, and data analysis skills. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Ready to Apply?
