We are committed to providing exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring their operations run smoothly and efficiently. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team, covering the Essex area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of forklift trucks at various client sites. A background in forklift trucks, construction plant, agricultural machinery, or military plant/vehicles is essential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklift trucks.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and time spent.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with a background in forklift trucks, construction plant, agricultural machinery, or military plant/vehicles.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
