Job Description

He/she reports to the Shift Leader and carries out both individually and in teams the assigned preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The External Center Field Engineer also plays a supervisory role on the system during the production phases of the center.

Experience

This role requires technical experience in maintenance and/or installation of automatic systems.

Responsibilities

He/she is responsible for the effectiveness of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities assigned on time. He/she is responsible for monitoring the system during operation and takes action autonomously in case of corrective and/or regulatory actions.

Main Tasks

  • Continuous coordination with the work team
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Repair and/or adjustment of the subsystems both independently and at the request of the shift manager or control room

He/she

  • Ensures the tidying and cleaning of the work area
  • Contributes together with the team to the reorganization and cleaning of the system at the end of the production phase
  • Contributes with the team to the removal of unprocessed packages present on the machine, in the nets, or abandoned throughout the system
  • Cooperates with the control room and in any case with the whole team, for the removal of objects in dangerous positions during the production phase
  • Coordinates and corrects if necessary the activities of the Jam Runners during the production phase
  • Guarantees the surveillance of the system during the production phase and intervenes if necessary with adjustments and/or repairs in order to reduce technical downtime
  • Contributes to the restoration of alarms and/or joints of the subsystems during the operational phase
  • Contributes to the preparation of production reports and to the correct data input in the CMMS (if any)
