About The Role

AiDEN is seeking a highly connected Vice President to lead US Sales & Business Development in various verticals. The role will report to the Chief Revenue Officer. AiDEN is seeking candidates with deep networks within Auto OEMs, Insurance Carriers, Fleet/Rental/Fleet Management and other 3rd party digital service providers. We expect the candidate to fast track the BD & sales process by calling on their existing contacts to engage directly with the decision makers within target service vertices. The candidate must have the capacity to become a trusted partner who can influence strategic planning, technology decisions, and product roadmaps. Must have technical knowledge and ability to introduce AiDEN’s service platform and articulate AiDEN’s value proposition. Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to translate complex technology to match audience awareness and needs. Ability to communicate with equal ease with CEO, CTO, Engineers, Sales, and Marketing teams (both internally and externally). The candidate must have the ability to understand, develop and sustain strong relationships and manage multiple high-level stakeholders within Auto OEMs, Insurance Carriers, Fleet/Rental/Fleet Management and other 3rd party digital service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Actively sell and manage key accounts as #1 priority.
  • Actively develop new and existing customer base.
  • Demonstrate advancement of customer relationships and engagement of senior decision makers.
  • Prepare sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Proactively and efficiently manage the deployment of resources with dedicated teams, virtual teams, and executive staff in support of business opportunities to ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Travel (domestic and global) to pursue customer opportunities as required.
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Monitor potential competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus.
  • MUST have 10+ years of experience selling technology within Automotive,Insurance, and/or Fleet/Rental/Fleet Management.
  • MUST have a high level of comfort with digital technology solutions.
  • Significant Enterprise Sales and strategic customer development experience.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual/quarterly goals and targets.
  • Excellent executive presence, communication skills, and credibility.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative mindset.
  • A high comfort level within a fluid lean startup environment. Experience at an early stage startup a plus.
